Flint & Denbigh Branch Pony Club Show
Thank you to the members who supported the Flint & Denbigh Branch Show. We hope you all enjoyed the day. You have raised £140 for the Branch, thank you.
Thank you also to everyone who helped in any way. A special thank you to Chrissie for coming to build the Show Jumping course, to Ben Read for running the Show Jumping all day (and his helpers, Gwenan and Georgina) and to Fran for running the Handy Pony and Mounted Games.

Winter League Show Jumping
The next competition is Berwyn & Dee and Tanatside, and entries need to be with Aloma by no later than Thursday 28th October (tomorrow!!). Cheques should be made payable to Tanatside PC for £14, and sent to Aloma Wyn-Wheway, Penanner, Betws yn Rhos, LL22 8AF.
The training seem to be very busy, but the competitions poorly attended. Please speak to Bethan Edwards or Aloma if you would like any further advice on any event.

Winter League Show Jumping Results – Sir WWW at Southview
Flint & Denbigh ponies and riders were all turned out impeccably for Class 1. The Winter League team comprised of Ophelia Godbedford-Orton, Harri Wyn-Wheway, Faye Jones and Eben Davies. They gained team 2nd, with Harri & Wilma individual 3rd, and Eben & Ben individual 4th. Jennifer Fedrick rode at her first competition, but luck wasn’t quite on her side.
It was disappointing not to have a Class 3 team on the day, with Sophie Toogood having a lorry accident on the way to the competition. However both Leah Jones and Milly Dalton rode well, and Millie & Ginny rode a lovely double clear to win individual 1st place.
In Class 4 we had Ben Read and Abbi Cocking. Ben rode a nice double clear, with individual 3rd place for him & Dougal.
Mold Triathlon
Mold Triathlon closing date for entries extended to next Wednesday October 28th as it has not been well circulated. Please send your entries to carolynwoodward5@yahoo.co.uk not as on schedule.
