Whilst the team that brings you the Weekly Update endeavour to positively respond to all requests for inclusion in the mailing list, we do have some emails addresses that are constantly rejected!
For the sake of privacy we will not print the entire email address below, but if you recognise your email, could you please email newsletters@fndponyclub.org.uk with your most recent and active address, that is if you wish to receive the newsletter by email!
RDP Training at Forest Gate Farm

Horse & Pony Care Competition (Area 5)
Members are needed to represent the F&D Branch at the Area 5 Horse & Pony Care Competition. Please contact Chrissie if you would like to be in a Team (chrissie@equest.plus.com).
- Junior Competition – Teams to comprise of three Members. Ages to be 13 years and under at 1st January 2015, one Member to be 11 years or under at 1st January 2015.
- Senior Competition – Teams to comprise of three Members. Ages to be 14-25 at 1st January 2015. One Member to be 16 years or under at January 1st 2015.
Pony Club Items for Christmas
If any one would like to buy a PC Sweatshirt, Jacket, Tie, Badge, Saddlecloth or the new Record of Achievement File as Christmas presents , Iona will have them all with her at Ystrad on Saturday 13th Dec from 10.30am–4.30pm. She will also have Beige or Black jodhpurs £14 and gloves etc. If there is anything you need and would like her to take to Ystrad please let her know (garethion@hotmail.com).
C+ H&PC Test
Please send your names to Iona if you would like to take the C+ H&PC Test in the Spring, so training sessions can be arranged (garethion@hotmail.com).

Winter League Show Jumping
The next Winter League Show Jumping competition is our own Flint & Denbigh Hunt competition. It would be lovely to see lots of you there, if not competing, cheering our competitiors on, or helping with in the days duties.
If you intend to compete, Aloma needs your entry by no later than January 3rd (please leave plenty of time for Christmas and New Year). Schedule is attached, please clearly mark name, name of pony, age on Jan 1st 2014, which class, and if you would like to compete in a team or as an individual. Winter League Show Jumping – Results
It was another successful day for the Flint & Denbigh at the Burton Cheshire Forest Winter League competition.
There were 8 teams in Class 1. Our Winter League team of Leah Jones & Koda Dakota, Ophelia Godbeford Orton & Travinator, Twm Cernyw & Tululah and Orlagh Toner & Lucky Charm all rode confident and well, gaining team 3rd (2nd Winter League team), and Orlagh Toner finished individual 4th, and Twm Cernyw individual 6th. The mixed team which had Carys Ann Roberts & Travis and Eben Cernyw & Mwstard gained team 6th.
Class 1: Welsh Scarlets – Team 3rd (2nd in points). Orlagh Toner was also individual 4th, and Twm Cernyw individual 6th. Carys Ann Roberts (Travis) & Eben Davies (Mwstard) in mixed team came home with team 6th.
Class 2 also had 8 teams, we had 2 teams competing. The Winter League team of Sali Wyn-Wheway & Toosie, Jac Cernyw & Gorgeous George, Lois Williams & Jim and Tegan Houston & Solitaire rode steady and well as a team, securing team 2nd, and are now 12 points in the lead on the area scoreboard. The second team of Zarah Bennet & Lola, Efa Davies & Jac Swift, Hermione Williams & Spike and Heidi Palin & Supermodel gained team 5th, with Heidi Palin finishing individual 4th in the competition.
Class 2 Winter League team are now leading by 12 points, after finishing 2nd in Burton Cheshire Forest. In no particular order: Sali Wyn-Wheway (Toosie), Lois Williams (Jim), Jac Cernyw (Gorgeous George), Tegan Houston (Solitaire). Class 2, Welsh Blues finished with team 5th. Heidi Palin also finished individual 4th. In no particular order: Hermione Williams (Spike), Heidi Palin (Supermodel), Zarah Bennet (Lola), Efa Davies (Jac Swift)
Class 3, and again we had 2 teams. The Winter League team were Ffion Thomas & Conker, Georgia Jones & Simba, Emily Cummings & Matt, and Brier Leahy & Kellen. They all rode double clears finsihing in team 2nd for Flint & Denbigh.
Class 4, and only one member competing: Abi Cocking & Summerhill, in a mixed team which came home with team 2nd, and Abi in individual 6th.
Well done to you all, and thank you to Mal, and all that helped with the score sheets once again.
