Winter League Show Jumping – Results

The weather wasn’t perfect but the homemade chilli, soup and table full of cakes were very welcoming at the Dwyfor & Dolgellau Winter League Show Jumping on Saturday.

Flint & Denbigh had two teams competing in Class 1. The Winter League team of Leah Jones & Koda Dakota, Twm Cernyw & Tululah, Ophelia Godford-Orton & Trevinator and Orlagh Toner & Lucky Charm all finished on lovely careful double clears, gaining team 2nd for Flint & Denbigh. Ophelia was also presented with individual 6th, all the others not far behind in the ribbons.

Class 2, and again 2 teams in the running. The Winter League team of Sali Wyn-Wheway & Toosie, Jac Cernyw & Gorgeous George, Lois Williams & Jim and Tegan Houston & Solitaire again came up trumps, with team 1st for the 4th consecutive time, and Tegan gaining individual 2nd, Jac individual 3rd and Lois individual 6th. Hermione Williams & Spike in our second team rode a super double clear, winning individual 1st, and Efa Davies & Jack Swift also rode a double clear, just out of the ribbons.

Class 3, and our team of Ben Read & Dougal, Emily Hare & Graziano and Harriet Williams & Flynn all rode well, gaining team 1st for the first time this season. Ben also had individual 2nd and a nice double clear with Dougal, Emily individual 4th and Harriet individual 5th. Ben & Dougal then went on to qualify for the Dengie final in Somerford in March after another Double Clear in the Dengie class.
