IMPORTANT REMINDER

Please remember to book into rallies and training in plenty of time, but more importantly, if you have booked in and are unable to attend, please let the organiser know in plenty of time. There is often a waiting list for rallies and training, and if organisers are notified in time, then places can be filled. Please treat our volunteer organisers with respect, and help them deliver a great service to all members by giving them consideration.

For Sale: 14.1 skewbald (bay tobiano) mare

Lulu has done a bit of everything at pony club (Berwyn and Dee) and is an excellent all-rounder. She loves cross country, fun rides, jumping, rallies and hacking out. She has competed with success at both pony club events and local shows. She has taken part in PC rallies and been to PC camp, hacks on her own or in company. Will live in or out (rugged in winter). No vices. Good to shoe and load. Will stand at a show all day long. Travels well. She is good in the stable and good with other horses and has a gentle, kind temperament. A very sad sale due to rider going to university. She has been a much loved family pony for 3 years and is 17 years old. She would either suit a pony club/riding club home or as a mother/teenager share or as a hack. CHAPS registered. No dealers. View full advert.

The Horseracing Certificate

If you haven’t yet signed up to the Horseracing Certificate at QIPCO British Champions Day, don’t panic – there’s still time to register!

Taking place at QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday the 18th of October, this is a chance for Members of The Pony Club to learn more about the amazing equestrian sport of horse racing.

  • You will be able to meet a racehorse, learn what breed they are and find out what makes them such special athletes.
  • Go to jockey school and have a bite size lesson on one of our racehorse simulators with one of our jockey coaches and practise riding like a jockey.
  • Learn about the different tack used by racehorses and jockeys on a raceday.

You will also receive a QIPCO British Champions Day goody bag which will include a British Champions Day Pony Club T shirt and pin badge.

Please note that due to unprecedented demand, any signups received from now may not be eligible for the Racecourse tour, however the other areas as mentioned above will remain available until 4pm.

If you have previously registered, you will receive further details about the event early next week.
