Camp Registrations

Online Camp registrations for both Mini and Main Camps have been extended until the end of day on the 4th June 2014 and are available on the homepage of our website at www.fndponyclub.org.uk. Manual forms for you to download, print, fill in, post and send a cheque are also available on the homepage of the website.

Lorinery Badge

Llanasa are running the main Lorinery badge on Friday 30th May, 10am-12noon, at April Rise Farm, Flint.

Please text Jude Bennett (07960 008601) if you would like to attend. The cost is £5.

Area Dressage

The Area Dressage competition will soon be upon us (July 12th at Bolesworth Castle). We have arranged a Test Riding Day at Ty Mawr, Bodelwyddan on Saturday 14th June as practice for the competition, and then Paul Davies will arrange the teams.  The competition comprises of the Novice, Intermediate and Open Tests.  (The tests can be found on the pony club website).

Please email Marian Owen (marianne.owen@btconnect.com) ASAP if you would like to compete at the Area competition and try the Test Riding Day and please check the dressage rule book (available online) to confirm you are eligible.

Area Mounted Games

Congratulations to our members who qualified for the Zone Competition last Saturday and also well done to the other teams that competed. They were all very well turned out and a credit to our Branch.

The weather on Saturday morning was reasonably dry for the senior competition, but unfortunately as soon as the juniors got on their ponies the downpour began. They bravely battled on in dreadful weather.

I would like to thank all the helpers & stewards who had to stand out in the rain all afternoon and the fortunate scorers & commentator in the comfort of the commentary box, for making the competition a successful one. I would also like to thank Rosemary & Arwyn and his band of workers for all their hard work organising the competition and for preparing the venue at Trefnant and having to relocate all the equipment to Kelsall on Saturday morning.

Thank you also to Arwyn & Fran for training the teams.

Good luck to the members at the Zone competition.

C+ Test
