Photos for the website

We are always keen to receive photos of Pony Club events to post on the website, and we already have a few in the 2014 gallery. If you would like any of your photos added to the gallery, please send them to webmaster@fndponyclub.org.uk with a bit of information about where and when they were taken.

Please try to send large photos (800×600 pixels and up), as they can be made smaller if necessary.

Mounted Games Results – Cheshire Hunt South Friendly

The Senior A team of Alys Williams, Alex Major, Charlotte Williams and Sophie Greaves had a fantastic day, despite the weather. They finished the heats in 1st place and so qualified for the A final, and scores reset to zero. Once again, they performed well and won the final by 3 points. This is the second time they have won this friendly in 2 years. Unfortunately there is no trophy, but they got a Toblerone each!

The Senior B team of Daniel Evans, Joe Owen, Lois Williams and Eden Greaves also had a good day. They finished in 5th place after the heats, also qualifying for the A final. They competed well but unfortunately had a couple of eliminations, so finished the A final in 6th place.

The Senior C team of Jac Cernyw, Steph Parsley, Rhys Cernyw (and guest rider Hannah from Tanatside) had a more difficult day, but competed well for a young team thrown together that morning! They were in the B final and unfortunately one pony decided the heats were quite enough, so they needed some assistance, and you don’t score for any races in which you receive assistance.

The Junior team of Gwenan Roberts, Katie Davies, Twm Cernyw and Andrew Davies had a good day. It was Andrew’s first competition and the commentator loved him! They finished the heats in 8th place and qualified for the B final. They had another good session, with a few difficulties, and finished 3rd in the B final.

Alex Owen and Jacob Edghill rode in a mixed Junior team with Tanatside, and they finished 4th, qualifying for the A final. They were one of three teams on 16 points before the last race, with the other two teams out in front. They had a great 4 Flag race and managed to finish in 3rd place overall.

In addition, Joe Williams was asked to be the Official Steward for the competition. Cheshire Hunt South were very grateful for his time and expertise, and no doubt he will be asked to do more in future.
