pcukThe Pony Club Training Committee are hosting a series of coaching workshops with 2010 Badminton winner Paul Tapner.

Paul, ex Pony Club Member and British Eventing coach, has kindly agreed to share his coaching ideas with Pony Club Instructors and Coaches over the series of evening workshops. The theme for the workshops, which will run from 6.30 – 9.30 p.m., is “Teaching the Horse to Help Itself”, and Paul will work with two groups of Pony Club Members and their horses/ponies at each venue.

The first two workshops are being held in February:

  • Thursday 13th February – Bicton College EC, East Budleigh, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, EX9 7BY
  • Tuesday 25th February – Reaseheath College EC, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6DF

These workshops count as Continual Professional Development (CPD) refreshers for Pony Club Coaches, which are required at least every two years in order to remain current and active. For full details on the requirements for coaching with The Pony Club, please visit the Training pages of the website: www.pcuk.org/training

Tickets are only £15 per person, and are available online, via The Pony Club‘s online event application system: http://events.pcuk.org
