There were 90 competitors at this competition – 24 teams and the Flint and Denbigh Team did it again – winning with a score of 8121 and beating the South Notts by just 10 points. It was so exciting and it was all on the swim. We were hoarse from cheering them on. Members of the winning team were Ben Read, Madeline Mayer, Mia and Neisha Roberts. The effort they put in was exceptional and many PB’s were achieved.
Individual results were:-
- Ben Read – 2nd Junior Boy. Top swim medal and PB
- Madeline – 2nd Junior Girl. Top shoot and run medal.
- Mia Roberts – 1st Min Girl (10/11 yr olds). Top run medal. PB for her shoot and swim.
- Neisha – 1st Min Girl (8/9 yr old). Top shoot, run and swim medals !!
- Hermione Williams – 4th Min Girl (10/11) with good scores for all phases.
- Scarlett Owen – achieved a PB in her swim.
- Leah Lamb – also achieved a PB for her swim.
Except for one man in the Adult class (of 3) Mia had the highest score of the whole competition 2932. Wow!
Well done to all of you. You showed such great team spirit and supported each other. I would also like to thank the parents for taking you all that way !
