PC Membership Renewal reminder

  • PC Renewal Form 2014
  • You have 14 days left to renew you Pony Club membership, (unless you are a new member who joined after 1st Sep 2013) this does not apply to you.
  • Thank you to all who have paid their membership and also to the members who have let me know that they will not be renewing this year.
  • If you are NOT renewing your membership with Pony Club, please let me know.
  • We had 273 members in F&D Hunt Branch of the Pony Club in 2013. I have still not heard from 80 of you.

Please Note: If you have sent  your renewal form to me a while ago and not received your membership cards please let me know. A few have gone missing in the Xmas post. I deal with the applications daily , so you should only have to wait a week at the most for the membership cards to arrive.

Could I also ask you to fill in the Gift Aid Section carefully. A high number of forms have included the postage in the amount, as stated on the form please enter the membership amount only, £61. £122 or £153. I have changed the amounts on all the incorrect forms but I don’t know if they will still be valid, because of the alteration.

Thank you … Iona

Winter League SJ

We all had another super day on Sunday in the first  WL SJ competition at Southview in 2014.   The extra training with Toni at Fferm last week had paid off for the little ones, as many ponies had been unridden over the festive season, and it was nice to find somewhere dry to jump before the competition.

Class 1 WL team consisted of Ceri Jones & Charlie, Jac Evans & Calvin, Sophie Williams & Norman and Beatrice Blockley  & Tick Toc, who all rode lovely double clears, and were proudly awarded 1st team prize for their super performance.  Beatrice and Tick Tock also gained individual 4th for their speedy round.

Class 2 WL team consisted of Sali Wyn – Wheway & Wilma, Tegan Houston & Solitaire, Lilly Ann Pardoe & Harry and Jac Cernyw & Gorgeous George. They all rode smooth clears in the first round,  but with Tegan having to drop out of the second round due to illness, the pressure was on for the remaining three not just to go clear, but fast clears as other teams were right there on their tails. The three second rounds were correct and very  speedy, and they really deserved the team 1st prize again, with Sali & Wilma gaining individual 1st, and Jac & George gaining individual 4th for F&D.

Unfortunately due to lorries not behaving, we only had individuals in class 3, Lucy Roberts and Jake were placed Individual 2nd. It was lovely to see the older members riding in class 4, Nicki Gray Williams & Finleys Flight, Lois Roberts & Rover, Lucy Grindal & George and Sophie Toogood & Dillon  The team were awarded  team 3rd prize, with Sophie flying the flag for F& D, gaining an individual 1st prize.

All the winners also received Toblerones  ( which I’m sure didn’t arrive home) and bags of well deserved carrots for the ponies.
Thank you also to all the other riders from F & D who all rode well, and were turned out to a high standard, well done to you all. Thank you also to Eirian Jones/ Glenn Evans / and John Wheway for  keeping a tight record of the scores. This helped tremendously, as we could then work out what was needed from each rider in the second round. Thank you also to those individuals who are happy to move from one class to another when we ask, and with your help after this weeks performance, Class 1 & 2 Wl are both on the top of their league tables.  Keep it up all of you, Well Done.

Thanks … Aloma, Chris & Kathi.
