800-P1110842On a perfect riding day, with Al’s excellent map reading skills we started our ride from Cae’n Y Coed, car park and took a forest path which led steeply towards Capel Currig.

Our route took us through wild paths which were abundant with wild flowers in full bloom. As the paths crossed through the forest there was the opportunity for some members and a few on foot adults to take a shorter route which then met with the main group of riders taking 8 mile route.

We then picnicked at the lake before heading back down to Cae’n y Coed.

A huge thank you to the Forestry Commission for letting us hold the ride and to the super fit mum’s and dad’s that walked or rode with our members.
