MINI CAMP MEETING

There will be a Mini Camp meeting on Thursday 12th July at 7pm in the Plough in St Asaph. The meeting will discuss planned activities and duties for Mini Camp..

All welcome … Janet Major

FUNDRAISING AT CAMP

We will be running a fundraising event again on the last afternoon of Main Camp ( Friday). If you could start thinking about ideas and what you would like to do it would save time at camp. The money raised will be shared between the Air Ambulance and the Harness Development Project run by ACE ( Animal Care in Egypt)

CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE.

Congratulations to the Open SJ Team Mari Edwards, Sophie Toogood, Louise Jones & Lois Roberts who qualified for the Pony Club SJ Championships in August at Cholomondy.
Well done to all members who competed at Somerford Park on Saturday, in all the Classes. All members from the F&D Branch were very well turned out and a credit to our Branch.

Thank you to Chris Leahy and Kathy Cummings for organising the training for the members.

HATS and BODY PROTECTORS

  • Please ensure that your Riding Hats are up to the Pony Club Standard before camp. They should all be tagged.
  • Hats must have the CE mark AND a quality symbol, either the BSI Kitemark, the SAI Global symbol or the official Snell label with number.
  • The CE symbol on its own is NOT sufficient.
  • The PAS 015 1998 and the Snell E2001 meet higher impact criteria and therefore give more protection.
  • XC riding over 80cms a jockey skull cap with no fixed peak must be worn.

The Pony Club does not make the use of body protectors compulsory, except for all cross-country riding.
When worn, body protectors must fit correctly, be comfortable and not restrict movement.
