How to Ride Your Dressage Test

Next Sunday (12/2/12) Llysfaen District does not have a PC rally planned, but if there is enough interest I will organise a D & C Dressage Test Practice morning at Ystrad in preparation for our Combined Training Competition the following week (see attached schedule). This will give you an opportunity to perfect your movements and ride through the test, and also give your mums & dads a chance to practice calling the test for you.

The Combined Training Competition which we are running on the 19th Feb at Ystrad is aimed at beginners and novice riders/ponies, you are able to wear your ponies normal bit in the dressage phase and have the test called for you, the aim of the competition is to encourage and build confidence in both rider & pony and for most competitors it will be the first time they have ever competed in a dressage competition.

Sorry for the short notice but if you fancy taking part in next Sundays dressage test training day please let me know asap, so that I can arrange the day for you.

I am having to limit the number of entries for the Combined Training, if you want to take part please get your entries in as soon as possible, so to avoid disappointment.

There will be a cake stand at the Combined Training Competition, we would greatly appreciate any cakes or cup cakes being donated to the stand so that we can sell them and raise money to aid future training.

Regards … Laura
