Gwynedd’s Winter League competition on Sunday 30th was held at Bryn Derw. Very cold morning but thankfully no snow this time.
Class 1 was very well supported again with 12 of our 10 and under’s making the journey and a good result was had with F&D teams coming 2nd and 3rd with Georgia Jones and Molly having an individual 4th and Eleri Reece Jones and her pony Chez an individual 5th. Well done girls!
In Class 2 we put forward 2 teams and had a brilliant run coming 1st and 4th. Individually Shannon Williams and Billy won the class with Ffion Roberts coming in 3rd on Polo.
Class 3 was a Dengie qualifier and again our girls triumphed with Hollie Blockley and Billy coming 2nd, Manon Owen and Imp 3rd and Brier Leahy and Paddy fifth! All qualified as the winner of the class, F & D member Shannon Williams had previously qualified.
The Intermediate Class was very fiercely fought and unfortunately we were pipped by Anglesey and CHS branches and came 3rd. Georgia Cabb and Smartie jumped a lovely double clear and came 6th.
Last class of the day, as always, was the Open which we won with Manon Owen and Imp coming 2nd, Brier Leahy and Tom coming 3rd , Alex Cabb and Rockie 4th and Wednesday Rytter and Bounce came in 6th. Sorry about the photo girls but it was, by then, quite dark in the arena!!
